Fluke 810 Vibration Tester

The Fluke 810 is a handheld vibration instrument for troubleshooting rotating machinery. It is used when you want to find the cause of a mechanical fault rather than just observing that something is vibrating. The instrument can pinpoint typical faults such as imbalance, looseness, misalignment, and bearing damage, and at the same time assess the severity of the fault.

This makes it relevant for general maintenance, as it provides a quick assessment of the machine's condition and allows for prioritization of tasks. Repair recommendations are also included, so it's not just a measurement, but also a guide for the next step in the work.

The Fluke 810 measures the machine's rotational speed and operates over a wide frequency range, allowing it to be used on various types of equipment with rotating parts. The triaxial sensor shortens measurement time by measuring in multiple directions simultaneously, and the laser tachometer is used to include the current speed in the assessment.

In practice, it is a good choice when a portable diagnostic unit is needed for machine maintenance, troubleshooting before and after service, or checking newly installed equipment. With the included PC software, measurement results can also be saved and tracked over time.
