REACH and chemical compliance

At HIN A/S, we work actively to ensure that the products we supply meet the applicable requirements of the REACH regulation (EC No. 1907/2006).

As a technical distributor, we collaborate with leading manufacturers and suppliers who are committed to complying with relevant European chemical legislation.

How we work with REACH:

• We obtain REACH information and declarations of conformity from our suppliers.
• We continuously monitor developments in REACH legislation, including updates to the Candidate List of SVHC (Substances of Very High Concern).
• We update our documentation when suppliers inform us of changes in product composition or regulatory conditions.
• We store and maintain REACH documentation as part of our quality management.
• We make relevant documentation available to customers upon request.
• For inquiries regarding specific products, we collaborate directly with the manufacturer to ensure correct and up-to-date information.

Our responsibility

HIN A/S is a distributor and not the manufacturer of most products in our range. Our REACH work is therefore based on information and documentation from manufacturers and suppliers. We have established procedures to ensure that this information is obtained, assessed, and communicated to our customers.
