Starting tolerance according to ISO 691. 2-3 multi-layer coating with different colors indicating safety, danger or high danger. Plus a fourth in black to further protect the handle edges. This provides protection as well as a visual warning system. If the outer layer of insulation becomes damaged, the lighter color underneath will become visible and alert the user. Each tool is tested at 10,000V for 10 seconds at the end of the manufacturing cycle
