BALVER 1172677

BALVER 1172677 is a lead-containing, halide-free, and no-clean cored solder wire in the Sn63Pb37 alloy. In practice, it is a solder wire with flux in the core, allowing you to solder directly with the wire without needing to add separate flux during the work process itself.

It belongs to the REL0 class and is developed for repair, rework, and general soldering tasks where a stable and fast soldering process is required. According to the manufacturer, it provides good wetting and good flow properties in lead-containing processes, and residues after soldering can be left on the PCB without subsequent cleaning.

The low residue level and the halide-free flux make it relevant when you want a clean soldering process with a low risk of corrosion. The Sn63Pb37 alloy has a solidus/liquidus point of 183 °C, and the recommended soldering temperature is 280–330 °C.

The wire is available in standard diameters from 0.3 to 3.5 mm. Standard spool weights are 0.25 kg, 0.5 kg, and 1.0 kg.
