3M™ 8882™ High Gel Re-enterable Encapsulant from 3M is a two-component, non-urethane encapsulant designed to seal and protect copper connections. The product is also made re-entry-friendly, so cable splices can be reopened for later changes and maintenance.
3M™ 8882™ High Gel Re-enterable Encapsulant is relevant when there is a need for a solution that can both protect the connection and simplify subsequent access. The encapsulant adheres to filled cable and is compatible with common plastics used in telephone splice connectors.
Delivery and handling
The product is delivered in pre-dosed sachets and in Easy Dispenser cartridges. Sachet volumes are stated up to 1648 ml.
