Fluke VR1710 Voltage Quality Recorder
The Fluke VR1710 is a small measuring instrument that plugs directly into a single-phase wall outlet and then logs voltage quality over time. It is used to determine if there are problems with the supply that may affect operation, equipment, or measurement results.
The instrument records, among other things, RMS values, voltage sags, interruptions, transients, flicker, and harmonics up to the 32nd order. In practice, this means that both slow variations and short events, which can otherwise be difficult to capture, can be seen. With up to 175,000 events and a time resolution of 5 ms, you get a detailed picture of what happened and when.
It is particularly relevant in environments where voltage problems can cause faults, shutdowns, or unstable operation. The built-in recording and accompanying PowerLog software make it possible to download data, analyze it, and generate reports without having to manually work with raw measurement data.
The VR1710 comes with a USB cable and universal power adapters and has safety category CAT II 300 V.
