BAHCO 4130 ERGO™ micro side cutting pliers
BAHCO 4130 is a small side cutter for precision work where a clean and controlled cut in thin wire is required. It is 120 mm long and on the lighter side with a weight of 60 g, making it easy to work with when the task requires fine motor skills and good control.
The handle is built with two-component ERGO™ handles, where the thermoplastic surface lies on a polypropylene body. This provides a more secure grip in the hand, which is a clear advantage when working for long periods at a time or when cutting many identical pieces. The jaws are made of high-alloy steel, and the cutting edges are CNC-machined, ensuring the tool is built for precise cuts. The phosphated surface also helps with corrosion protection.
The cutter has a return spring, so the jaws open again after each cut. This makes the work more fluid, especially during repetitive cutting. It is rated for soft wire in the 0.3–1.5 mm range and is suitable for Cu.
