STAUBLI 01.0011
The STAUBLI 01.0011 is a single-pole, uninsulated socket of type B18N for high-current connections. It belongs to Stäubli's series of round, single-pole connectors and uses MULTILAM LAI contact technology, which is designed to maintain a stable contact surface during operation.
In practice, it is a component used to create a robust electrical connection in industrial equipment where current, heat, and mechanical stress place demands on the connection. Therefore, it is not intended as a standard plug connection but as part of a professional solution where contact resistance, current flow, and secure engagement are important parameters.
The connection is specified for 400 A at 80 °C and 640 A at 150 °C. At the same time, the contact resistance is stated as 20 µΩ, which is relevant because low resistance means less loss and less heating at the contact point itself. In addition, an insertion force of 100 N and an extraction force of 75 N are specified, giving an idea of its mechanical behavior during coupling and uncoupling.
Since it is an uninsulated socket, it is typically used in constructions where it forms part of a shielded or built-in system. It is therefore aimed at installations where the connection is fixed and not handled as a loose consumer connection.
