ITECO Sahara DRY 120
The Iteco Sahara DRY 120 is a hot air oven for baking and drying PCBs and electronic boards. It is used when components and PCBs need to be handled under controlled conditions so that moisture in the materials can be reduced before further processing. The oven is specified to meet JEDEC 033 and IPC 1602, which are relevant standards in electronics manufacturing.
What is special about the Sahara DRY series is that it combines temperature control with humidity control. In the range from 40 °C to 100 °C, it can achieve less than 5% RH, and the temperature range goes from +40 °C to +280 °C. This makes it suitable for workflows where stable and repeatable treatment of sensitive PCBs is required.
Inside, the chamber is made of AISI304 stainless steel, while the exterior is made of epoxy-coated steel. Adjustable wire shelves in chrome-plated steel are included, so the layout can be adapted to the items to be placed in the oven. The series also has an electronic PID controller with data logging, so the process can be monitored and documented.
