Fluke 3024460 I20A/200A Clamp PQ4 Current Clamp Set
The Fluke 3024460 is a mini current clamp set for measuring AC current in systems where you want to measure without breaking the circuit. The set is designed for use with Fluke 1735 and Fluke 1740 series power loggers and is especially useful when measuring a 3-phase system with neutral, i.e., 4 conductors in the same installation.
The current clamp measures from 0.5 A to 200 A AC RMS and operates in the range from 40 Hz to 5 kHz. In practice, this means it can be used for many common current measurements in energy and power analysis, even when the signal is not just a simple low-frequency alternating current. At 50 Hz, the accuracy is specified in several intervals, providing a better overview of how precise the measurement is within different current levels.
It is a practical solution when logging power consumption or monitoring the load in an installation without disconnecting the wires. The clamp is designed for conductors up to 15 mm in diameter, or a busbar of 15 x 17 mm, and is rated for 600 V CAT III. This makes it relevant in panels, distribution boards, and other fixed installations where work must be carried out under the correct safety conditions.
The PQ4 version is the 4-phase version in the series, and the cable is 2 meters long, providing some flexibility when connecting to the logger. The weight of 730 g also indicates that it is a larger measuring clamp than the very small models, but still a practical size for fieldwork.
