
KATIMEX Location System
This location system from KATIMEX, the X-Loc Micro, is designed to locate blockages and pipe routes in microducts with an internal diameter of 4 mm or more. The X-Loc Micro combines a push-stable Polykat® fiberglass profile (outer Ø 2.5 mm) with integrated, trimmable copper conductors for transmitting signals. The product is supplied as a complete unit on a galvanized steel tube frame with a 3-pole connection, earth cable, and two contact adapters.
Technical Overview
The X-Loc Micro supports mapping of pipe sections and optimized endpoint location up to 250 m. The range can be extended up to 500 m when the system is used from both entrances of the microduct. The product is compatible with common locating devices (not included).
