Fluke 80TK Thermocouple Module

The Fluke 80TK is a small adapter used with a digital multimeter when the multimeter needs to measure temperature instead of voltage. The module takes the signal from a type K thermocouple and converts it so that the multimeter can display the temperature directly in degrees C or F.

This makes the 80TK relevant when you already have a suitable multimeter and want to use it for temperature measurement without buying a separate thermometer. It is particularly practical in service, troubleshooting, and general control measurement, where you quickly need a temperature reading on a surface, in the air, or at another point, depending on the probe you connect.

The module connects with banana plugs and works with type K thermocouples. An 80PK-1 bead probe is included, so you can start measuring immediately. The included probe practically determines what you can measure and how well you can make contact with the object.

The 80TK is also designed for low-voltage work, and a clear limit has been set for the amount of voltage allowed at the input. Therefore, it is not something you use directly on regular mains voltage or other tasks where higher voltage may be present at the measurement point.
