STAUBLI 32.0317P0001

The STAUBLI 32.0317P0001 is an original MC4-Evo 2 male cable coupler for solar installations. It is used to terminate a cable with a plug connector so it can be securely connected to the mating part in the system.

In practice, this is the type of connection used in string circuits where a stable DC connection and a high degree of tightness are required. Here, it is relevant that the coupling is approved for DC 1500 V and certified according to IEC, JET, and UL. It also features the MULTILAM contact system, which is Stäubli's contact principle in the MC4-Evo 2 family, and the contact resistance is specified as less than 0.2 mΩ.

For the installer of cables, mechanical dimensions are just as important as electrical ones. This variant is for cables with an outer diameter of 4.7–6.4 mm and has a crimp opening of 5.8 mm. It is supplied as a crimp connection, so the conductor and plug are assembled with the correct crimping tool. Once assembled, the connection is rated IP65/IP68 when mated and IP2X when unmated.
