Fluke ii905 Sonic/Acoustic Industrial Imager
The Fluke ii905 is an acoustic inspection tool that makes sound visible. In practice, this means it displays a SoundMap overlaid on the standard camera image, allowing you to find leaks and other acoustic anomalies in plants and installations more quickly.
It is particularly useful when the problem cannot be seen with the naked eye. Instead of listening your way to a problem, you can scan an area and receive a visual indication of where the sound is coming from. This makes troubleshooting more manageable, especially in environments with a lot of background noise.
The LeckQ™ function helps assess leaks directly on the instrument. This includes estimates for leak size, leak rate, cost estimates, and automatic distance calculation. This provides a better basis for prioritizing what needs to be addressed first.
The instrument operates in the frequency range of 2 kHz to 65 kHz and has a detection range of approximately 0.5 to over 70 meters, depending on the conditions. It is built for field use with a 5 MP visible camera, a 7-inch capacitive touchscreen, 32 GB of internal memory, and up to approximately 6 hours of operation on a replaceable, rechargeable Li-ion battery.
