AMPROBE 4709243 – Beha-Amprobe 2100-Gamma
The Beha-Amprobe 2100-Gamma is a two-pole voltage tester for electrical work, allowing both voltage measurement and continuity testing of a conductor or connection. It is also used for two-pole phase sequence indication to determine if a three-phase system rotates clockwise or counter-clockwise.
The instrument measures up to 1000 V AC and 1200 V DC and is safety-rated to CAT III 1000 V / CAT IV 600 V. This makes it relevant for professional installations where work is done close to fixed electrical systems and supplies. The LCD display shows voltages from 6 V, while the coloured LED indicator provides a quick visual reading in the field.
Additionally, it features continuity measurement, resistance measurement up to 1999 Ω, and a switchable load via two push-buttons. This is useful for avoiding false readings from so-called ghost voltage or when controlled RCD testing needs to be performed. The built-in flashlight helps when there is poor lighting near panels and installations, and IP64 protection makes it suitable for environments with dust and splashes.
As part of its practical design, it also includes automatic AC/DC detection, polarity indication, and an audible signal for voltages exceeding specified limits. All of these features contribute to making the instrument faster to work with in daily use, where a clear answer is often needed immediately.
