BENNING CFlex 2
The BENNING CFlex 2 is a flexible current transformer for measuring AC current when a conventional current clamp is impractical to use. It is designed to wrap around the conductor and provide a digital TRUE RMS reading of the current, allowing AC currents in the range of 0.1 A to 3000 A to be read.
The flexible measuring loop makes it easy to get around cable assemblies and in confined spaces. The loop is 46 cm long with a diameter of 16 cm, and the connection cable is 1.8 m. The display is a large, backlit 4-digit LCD, making readings easy to see in practice. The instrument also features HOLD, MIN/MAX memory, auto-power off which can be deactivated, and a low battery voltage indicator.
The CFlex 2 is relevant for testing and measurement tasks where a flexible solution for current detection is required without having to interrupt the installation. It is rated for CAT IV 600 V and comes with a protective pouch and batteries.
