Safe working environment with ESD protection

Treston has extensive experience in the development, production, and delivery of ESD furnishings. All workstations and accessories are available with electrically conductive paint. Furthermore, Treston can supply furniture, seating, and grounding components for ESD protection of workstations.

An ESD protected area is called an EPA. In EPA areas, everything must be ESD protected – materials, workwear, and humidity. Employees in EPA areas must also be grounded with protective resistance.

Ergonomics improves productivity and well-being at work

An ergonomic workstation enables employees to perform at their best every day. Ergonomic work environments make it easy and safe to do one's job. All components and tools are within reach, eliminating the need to bend or stretch, which in turn reduces tension, strain, and discomfort. This helps prevent musculoskeletal disorders, which affect up to three out of five people of working age.

Work-related musculoskeletal disorders caused by poorly designed work methods and postures not only cause physical strain for employees but also burden companies and society as a whole through absenteeism, incapacity for work, and reduced productivity.

"According to a study carried out by the University of Warwick in 2014, employees whose job satisfaction is low are 10 per cent less productive compared to the average employee, whereas employees with high job satisfaction are 12 per cent more productive than the average employee."
