Known solder alloys – including SN100C®
A central part of Balver Zinn's program is solder alloys for lead-free electronics production. One of the most well-known alloys in the portfolio is SN100C®, which is a lead-free alloy based on tin and copper (SnCu0.7Ni) stabilized with nickel.
According to the manufacturer, the alloy also contains germanium, which reduces oxidation of the solder. SN100C® is used in, among other things, wave soldering, selective soldering, and dip soldering in electronics production.
