To simplify routing, the Cabeljet system is used for locating non-conductive pipes. It consists of a transmitter, locating rodder, and a fiberglass rod with copper wires. The signal emitted from the rod can be picked up at depths of several meters, depending on equipment and conditions. KATIMEX® locating systems are compatible with standard transmitting and receiving equipment. The Cablejet kit includes a Polykat fiberglass profile with integrated copper wires, a rod end with M12 thread, a flexible guide head, a connection box for the transmitter, and a galvanized steel frame with an aluminum reel.
